I get addicted to things very easily. Maybe it's less of an addiction and more of an obsession. But it doesn't last long. Sometimes it's a new guy - a new crush. I won't be able to get him out of my mind. Or sometimes it's a new tv show. If there are no new episodes, then I research on every actor and check out their previous shows. And spend my time googling the show. And now I am addicted to chewing gum but I am getting tired of it. There was a time I was addicted to coffee, different chocolates, and whole lot other things.

It's tiring. It messes things up for me. I don't do what I am supposed to do. It effects my studies, my relationships with others......practically my entire life.

Can anybody help?

When you notice that you're spending too much time on something try to cut down on it. Like if its actors/actresses from a show, look up only a few then do something else. If it's really effecting things that much maybe talk to a therapist/councilor about it and see if they have anything that can help you.
