[FONT=""][COLOR=""][SIZE=""]So I have been masterbating and squirting since august 2018. I have taken my parents toys (vibrator/dildo) and made myself orgasm and squirt (its been all over). I have been doing it everyday since. I need help, but it feels so good. Just that feeling makes me feel so good. I feel like such a whore, slut, and hoe. Hello and thank you so much for coming onto Teenhelp and telling us about what you have been going through. I am so sorry that you are having a hard time with this and hope that you will be okay soon.


First off, nothing is wrong with you and it is totally fine to do this or not. Everyone is different, so they do not have a rule saying that you have to or you do not have to. Please do not be so hard on yourself for this.

When you think that you are doing this too much, next time try if you can to find something to get your mind off of this for a while so that you are not thinking about it so much. For example try getting out of the house and going for a walk, you can have on earbuds or headphones on and listen to music for a while. Or reading a book or drawing or painting or calling a friend or putting on a funny movie or TV show or something else that you enjoy doing. This way you are doing something else and you are not thinking about it for a while. Always be safe when you are doing this and I wish you the best and thank you so much for coming on and asking for help too.

Masturbating is healthy, even doing it regularly. There's also nothing wrong with enjoying masturbation, so there's no need to call yourself names.

However, all things should be done in moderation. If you find yourself spending too much time masturbating that you are neglecting yourself, your responsibilities (e.g. school work), or time with others (family/friends), then that is cause for concern.

If you feel the amount of times that you are masturbating is harmful to you then maybe you can try cutting down. You don't have to stop masturbating completely and how much to cut down depends on how you feel. You may decide to go from every day to every other day, or maybe just keep it to the weekend. You may also want to look at what you feel you may be missing out if you are using masturbation as a way of filling a void. Masturbation feels good, but are there other non-sexual activities that you can do that also help you to feel good? Or if you are stressed, what else can you do to ease your tensions? If you are using masturbation to procrastinate or avoid things, perhaps try get work done before you masturbate. It's all about keeping a balance- enjoying masturbation while not letting it interfere with your life.

Also, it's not healthy to share your parents toys. Ideally, you should try to invest in your own toys, as this will prevent the risk of catching and spreading infections. It's also good to make sure that you clean the toys before and after use.

Masturbation is a perfectly fine activity to do and I for one have been enjoying this self-time for quite a while now.

I'd go as far to say that probably virtually everyone does it once in a while as a teenager.

What I find is, every time I do it, things do indeed get a bit messy. I tend to use towels, and with a bit of practice you will be able to safely and easily make sure things don't get too messy!

Even just using your hands and then wiping them and washing them may help.

But there's no need to stop. Unless it really is becoming addictive, and is taking over more important activities, then possibly it is becoming a unhealthy addiction.

But good hygiene, clever 'catching' skills and maybe once or twice a day is just fine! Enjoy yourself..

Thank you for coming out here to share how you feel with us!

I think it's absolutely natural to enjoy masturbation It's also natural to feel bad and guilty after masturbating or watching porn, but it's so hard to stop because it feels good. And it gets addicting after a while, doesn't it?

I can share some personal experience and you can adopt a similar train of thought if you wish. I've been there; I've unknowingly masturbated a few times but I feel like sh*t afterwards, so I know how you're feeling. But I also overcame it, because I managed to convince myself that there are much better pursuits I could be up to, and that I didn't want to allow myself to feel guilty any more. Presently, I never masturbate, which I'm happy about.

Like the others have mentioned on this forum, it's okay if you are unable to stop yourself from masturbating entirely. Ultimately, it's your life! If you want to stop it entirely, good! If you want to reduce the regularity of it, go for it! However, it's good to always introduce an element of control if you wish to continue engaging in masturbation. Remember, there is always a whole host of enjoyable activities out there, so let masturbation not be a means for you to fill up a void
