If you can afford it, it's not an addiction.

Woah. That's kinda weird. No offence. Uhmm. Well I'm not sure what to tell you...you don't talk on then do you? I think it sounds more like a collectable thing...where you just collect them because you like them..? It's like somebody collecting stamps, or postcards or buttons (I like buttons and it seems that I look for them even when I think I'm not looking for them.) Like I think a real cell phone addicition would be where you think you hear your cell phone ringing, or when you feel it vibrating when it's not even in your belt loop. My step dad has that and he feels his phone vibrating a lot and it's not even on him...people call it a blackberry addicition, I think. But I think you just like to collect them, there's nothing wrong with it. But them in a glass box and call them your treasures!!

Take Care,
Braiden. (:

This does sound like an addiction for sure and it is beginning to consume your life if you are actively searching out new phones and trading away your other things for them. I think there's nothing wrong with having a collection of something, but I think you need to control the extent you're going to obtain these things. This may seem drastic, but unchecked it could easily evolve into taking over your whole life or resulting in you taking phones. I think it;s already quite bad- if you're looking for phones in public places you could uniwttingly be taking phones and causing people great distress when they can't go back and find it. I would seriously try and work on restricting the methods you use to get these phones, aswell as how many you obtain- say, limit your self to 5 a month or so.

The philosophers have only interpreted the world, in various ways; the point is to change it.

"Patriotism is your conviction that this country is superior to all other countries because you were born in it." - George Bernard Shaw
