Define twitching? I mean do you randomly just jerk uncontrollably?

Hey Jocelynn,

You're brave for talking about your twitching. I can imagine that it's not easy to discuss. Does anyone know about it? (A parent, family member, teacher, etc.) It might be helpful to talk to an adult that you trust and get their opinion on it.

The other thing that might be helpful, in terms of getting support here on TH, is to explain your twitching a bit more. It sounds like people are a bit confused as to whether it's something you do out of comfort (some people rock to comfort themselves, or shake their legs, etc.) or if it's something that you physically cannot control. The more we (and adults in your life) understand about it, the better we can help, and/or direct you to people who could help!

Above all, please know that everyone has things that they struggle with. They can be embarrassing or make us feel weird or strange, but everyone has their own things, you know? I hope you continue to feel like you can post here and reach out for support. Don't hesitate to PM me anytime, okay?

Its funny, i can always tell when my boyfriend is falling asleep because he twitches. The closer he gets to sleep the more "Violent" it becomes.
But in the day time, he never does it so i dont get it, and when i told him, he has no recognition of doing it.
I personally think its adorable.
As for your problem, i have no idea why it happens.
My advice is if it really bothers you, you should go to a doctor.

I can subconsciously can twitch my feet/toes. I can be lying in bed with someone and they'll tell me to stop twitching, and I wont even know that I'm doing it. It can be a bit annoying. I would advise seeing your doctor, there could be something they can do for you.
