Hey there,

First, it looks like you should check out this (and maybe search for other things): http://www.shopliftersanonymous.com/

I don't understand your problem enough to tell you specifically how to stop. The only good alternative for adrenaline rushes that I can think of is to take up a sport like mountain biking or something where you can make jumps.

adrenaline rushes make you feel really good. so i would suggest things that are unordinary but safe. like.. sky diving, snowboard, surfing, climbing, partying(safely), or anything else. start doing an extreme sport, start offroad driving, sometimes people even find the adrenaline rushes while flirting, or being sexually active. i wouldn't suggest the sexually active though until you are ready and possible older if you're young. and that can still be dangerous due to STDs.

Drink lots of energy drinks and go running. Lol. Have sex where you're not supposed to. Go diving for change in fountains and run away really fast. Lol.

I did it for the adrenaline rush too.
Until I got caught.
And my parents where informed, and my mom went to my grandparents to cry it out.
And when I got home with my dad and I saw the broken faces of my mother and grandmother I just broke, getting caught didnt hurt, their faces, their dissapointement did...

I get adicted to things pretty quick, but I loose the addiction equally fast.
If you stop thinking about something, if you completey take it out of the equation, you will realise you dont need it, and by that time you will have replaced it by something else, like flirting in my case.

Stop stealing now before it's too late.

I know someone who has now got a criminal record for just casual stealing and got banned form certain shops and shopping areas, not good. And as Jonathan said, the disappointment from your family is so much worse than being punished by the law.

Just kiss me.
