Porn addiction I am so embarassed my Mom know and so does my Dad what should I do?

Ok so I searched sex one day and all these things popped up i clicked on [Edited] and that is when it started I t felt so good too masturbate and know I seem too not be able to stop looking at it also I think it is illegal for me too wath porn because I am 17. Someone please help me I sometimes want too commit suicide because I am so embarassed that my mom and dad know.

First, don't stress too much about your age. Many, many teenagers watch porn; you're more likely to get in trouble for downloading music, to my knowledge (meaning it's pretty darn safe). Secondly, while I do understand not wanting your parents to know, watching porn isn't something to be ashamed of. Sex and sexuality are both natural and healthy; it sounds like you just have an unusually high sex drive. Honestly, I can relate. It's not a bad thing, and personally I'm quite glad to be the way I am in that regard.

Just don't go getting viruses on your computer!

if you want to stop then stop everytime u get those urges just remember why you dont want to.

Honestly, they are probably not as shocked as you think. I'd talk to them and say, "It's normal for me to like it. Humans are sexual creatures and there's nothing strange about it."

I understand you being embarassed, especially if you don't have a very open relationship with your parents. However, I can almost asure you one hundred precent certainty that they have watched porn or read porn magazines in their lifetime and it's perfectly normal to fufill those sexual urges by watching porn.

The only time when you truly NEED to stop is when it is keeping you from living your life and interferring with your everyday activities. Some people masturbate a lot, some don't do it very often at all. Don't be embarassed about it (:

I agree with all these posts - it IS natural, and many of us out here do it.

However, if you DO still want to stop then as soon as you get the urges, log off the computer and take a break, or maybe use Google or this site to search for other methods of quiting this sort of behaviour.

Really though - if you delete the history on your computer your parents wont find anything, and it is NORMAL for teenagers to watch porn. Just make sure it doesn't start to effect your daily life (Skipping classes to look at porn).

If you want to stop you could always block all the porn sites you frequent from your computer, maybe even have your parents do it so you can't unlock it if you feel tempted. But really, there's nothing wrong with liking porn!

I agree with these, i think a lot of us here have this problem so if you find yourself wanting to look at it do something else, go here on TH or something. There's no real need to stop. It doesn't seem like an addiction to me. As long as it gets in the way of your everyday life (example: you stay home from school to watch porn) I wouldn't worry
