Australia: Baby in Stroller dragged by TRAIN -
October 16th 2009, 10:55 PM
Hi Everyone!!
I hope you're having a dandy day. WARNING: A very upsetting video to watch. BUT.... it has a happy ending. While waiting for a train to approach the station - a mother watches as her baby - in a baby stroller - rolls forward and off the platform onto the train tracks - JUST as the train approaches. The baby and the stroller are dragged along the tracks. I can only imagine how awful that moment must have been for that mother. [And for those who witnessed the 'event'] http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v9wWu6TCAys&NR=1 GREAT BIG HUG Craig!! "It takes FAR MORE COURAGE to be KIND than it does to be CRUEL" - CanadaCraig

My friend showed me this video earlier, it's amazing that the baby wasn't hurt. Very happy ending.
The atoms that make up you and me were born in the hearts of suns many times greater than ours and in time our atoms will return once again to reside amongst the stars. Life is but an idle dalliance of the cosmos, frail, and soon forgotten. We have been set adrift in an ocean whose tides we are only beginning to comprehend, and with that maturity has come the realization that we are, at least for now, alone. In that loneliness, it falls to us to shine as brightly as the stars from which we came.

WHAT. How did the baby not get hurt? That is... amazing. It reminds me of the lady who was sleeping(wtf?) on train tracks and the train passed right over her.

Wow, that would have been terrifying to see. I'm glad the baby is okay, it's amazing that they weren't seriously hurt.

I don't understand how this happened. Firstly what made the thing move, train platforms do not have an incline and if it did then that woman should have let her pants fall rather than let go. Second it couldn't have been wind because first it didn't look windy enough to move a stroller and a baby in the video and second even if it was windy enough to move the thing it turned slightly. Wind wouldn't make it turn slightly so it could fall perfectly straight onto the tracks. So I'm not sure how this came to be.

That is one lucky baby to have survived that. I can only imagine how the mother felt, it must been horrible to have that happen, you wouldn't know what to do. It's lucky the train stopped as well otherwise the outcome could have been a lot worse.

I have to say it does look a bit suspicious, firstly the only thing that could have hit the pram was the mother (the main building was sheltering them from the wind) and she does take a good while to react....
