Theoreticaly possible... but im not convinced that it isn't faked lol. What if they have some sunked pier under the water or something to run on. Plus I dont actualy think they are running fast enough to do it. The principle ought to work similar to how you skim stones on water. But the stones don't push into the water as such with every impact... whereas actualy running on the water would. Every step on the water pushes into it. The drag would slow u down too much. If this really is true it ought be tested by somethin more reliable than you tube lol.

That really is cool. I do strongly believe that anything is possible if you just try your hardest and believe in it, I have managed to get it to work for me in the past.

It's ironic - in a way - as it was Jesus who 'walked on water' - that TO actually 'walk on water' takes an abundance of FAITH. This is interesting on so many different levels.

I thought of this and I don't think it's faked. Firstly he falls into the water at different points - if there was something underneath the water he would fall into the water at the same location each time. Also the way the skimming stones skip is that they drop into the water just enough to create a current that builds up a wall of water behind the stone, thus creating a forward thrust on it. They did in fact make giant skipping stones to prove this. So it is technically possible to skip a human foot - however because the human has a larger mass than the stone, he would require more of a forward thrust. That could be provided by physically moving the foot backwards, hence the running motion.
