PLEASE TELL ME YOUR DREAM FOR THE FUTURE? - June 15th 2013, 01:39 AM

I thought this would be a good topic to rant out my own future plans and also I really would love to read everyone else's!

(I'm currently about to start my 2nd year at uni) -
I plan to graduate with either a first or a 2:1 and then progress to get a 2:1 Masters degree. I then would like to spend a few months still living in my university hometown and save up money to volunteer in Africa for half a year or more. After that I'd like to think I'd found 'the one' - I'd like to work my way up to a very well-paid job (in Criminology/Sociology), while still living in this hometown and then finally moving into mine and my partners own place and settle down. I'd love a job that provides me with no set routine and an opportunity to 'rank' and get promoted. I'd prefer no more than 2 children and would want to never divorce or be hit with ill health at a young age. I'd hope to achieve this by early 30's, after that I want nothing but pure happiness.

All in all what I want from life is: HAPPINESS, LOVE AND ACHIEVEMENT. Only one can hope!

What is your dream?

I want to move in with my boyfriend and eventually marry him. I also want my doctors to find a way to stop my seizures so that one day I can have a family with him.

My dream as a senior in high school is to get into a good college, and become some sort of a doctor. Since I've had a lot of friend problems throughout high school, I hope to find more honest friends in college since my high school friends.. well they were just jerks lol

My dream for the future is to get into a good college, have an actual good time partying and hopefully not getting into too much trouble, and somehow make it in music, find an amazing person to marry (not sure if I'm gonna sway one way or the other gender-wise, I'll probably just stick to pansexual), raise kids (unless of course I marry a female, in which case who knows what will happen), ummmmm... grow old, finish my bucket list... you know. The normal future goals

Uhm, travel the world in my gap year, go to a good uni, get a good job, teach language or become a lawyer, buy a nice flat, have a moped, publish a book.

Eventually get married, have kids, move somewhere a little further from London, buy a nice house with pets and baking and things.

I want to live at uni and study wildlife biology and complete a diploma of French, and travel overseas Eventually I would love to settle in a little house near the mountains and work in a national park, and have a family.

Re: PLEASE TELL ME YOUR DREAM FOR THE FUTURE? - June 16th 2013, 01:55 PM

My dream is basically to be proud of my own achievements.

I know that I want to have an income bigger than my household income at the moment, since neither of my parents went to college or university, and I'm doing both. I want to finish university, then do a masters degree in counselling (I'm not sure if it'll be a general one of specialised for children and teenagers or something yet). I want to obviously work as a counsellor, and have enough money to get by and have a good sized house.

Other than that, my goals are to have my best friend still my best friend, because we've been friends all of our lives already. I want to stay on good terms with my mum and nan, since my family has a habit of falling out with each other. And then I think I'll be happy.

Work in a burn ICU while still volunteering on a fire department and picking up shifts in an ER. I would also like to get married and have children down the line.

The alternative is to get a job on a fire department and work contingent in an ER and as a float pool nurse.

This is a good thread. I want to do good in college, get my major in Law Enforcement with my minor in Computer Science. Get my EMT certification, along with my paramedic. Get a good job as a police officer (for the city, or a suburb), go back to school part time for my Social Work degree - and get into a field like counseling for other police officers with trauma. Start a family, be joyful, and live life to the fullest point eligible.

I have a bucket list, but how I want my life to plan out is as follows...
-Go to university, get a degree in Computer Science.
-Get a job, preferably close to home if possible.
-Work abroad for a few years here and there.
-Move back to Ireland, get married, raise a family.

Get past all this crap.
Study music theory in college.
Read and write as much as possible.
Learn as many instruments as I can.
Get a career in music and perform on stage in various festivals and clubs.

Well, I want to be a successful novelist in which I'm constantly writing too many damn words each day (1500-2000 words) is a hell of a lot and I'm already 100000 words in! But that just to secure the money deal and other crap. Really, for a guy like me... all I want is to my own loving family. A loving partner and perhaps an adopted daughter (I prefer adoption, wouldn't want a kid going to some low-class wannabe parent than creating one, plus having a kid that takes 50% of your looks scares the hell out of me!) and we'll simply refine our happiness through life (a little kiddy but...).
