Hey, I'm actually interested in learning a new language too, although I'm looking at Italian, not Japanese. I'm signing up to a summer class which runs in a building specifically for learning languages. I found it using the internet, so I'd recommend having a browse for facilities in your local area that could teach you it! I think it's a far more interesting way to learn, plus if you attended a class you could put it on your CV too, something you wouldn't be able to do if you learned from a website (Unless it was a proper online-learning course, of course!)

It is awesome you want to learn a new language and Japanese is great!
You can find courses online though it may be best to take courses in person at your local university because of the more interaction with other people and the connections you can build with the professors/instructors.
