What did you want to be/do when you grew up? - March 4th 2018, 01:02 AM

Title says it all. What were your dreams and aspirations as a child? What did you want to do, even from the earliest days?

When I was in kindergarten, I wanted to be a teacher.
When I was in middle school, I wanted to be on TV.
Today, I have much different dreams and aspirations.

Original thread.

High school teacher
Special Education teacher
Veterinarian
Pediatric Oncologist
Psychiatric Nurse
Psychiatric Technician/Mental Health Worker
Therapist

Now I have a dream job but no real desire to jinx it happening so I am going to keep it a secret.

In elementary school, I wanted to work at a humane society.
In middle school and half of high school I wanted to be a doctor.
Through most of college I wanted to work at the CDC.
I now want to be a health inspector and eventually become a health director of a health department.
