Set yourself smaller goals -
September 1st 2021, 12:03 PM
How do you manage your short- and long-term goals? Do you set yourself big goals, or rather break them down into smaller objectives? If you haven't ever done the latter, I suggest you try - it might work for you and make getting things done easier.
There's also a goal-setting method called S.M.A.R.T.

Due to my job, I only ever really set myself small goals. I have one big goal which is my overall aim, but I try to avoid having too many goals because they can not only become harder to track, but more difficult to achieve.

We use SMART goals in public health a lot!
Maybe I should start breaking bigger goals into smaller ones.

Like you're hanging by a thread but you gotta survive

It's really hard for me to even manage a day-to-day schedule and goals for the things I like to get done. In the past, I tried to set up a daily planner in a note book, but never maintained consistency with it.
I like the idea of SMART goals. I am going to save the picture and see how I can be better at managing my goals.
