Arrow Goals/dreams can come true (near future WARNER BROS. employee) - January 15th 2010, 11:05 PM

I left a larger note in the attached text to the song 'My Last Laugh.' But, I thought the note would better off here as well.

I was a high school nobody, ultimate loser, haven't made a friend past the age of five until a year ago! I grew up throughout high school always afraid that no one would like what I do, my voice as a writer.

Today, at age 21, I'm still starting out. But, so far I have Warner Brothers execs. wanting to hire me for the development team when they have a spot open up. I am also the go-to-writer guy for the son of an academy award winner and already have a buyer interested in a script I'm writing through that connection. So a small town suburban nobody at the age of 21 is already being targeted by Warner Brothers.

It's still a roller coaster. I'm still doubting myself - even though I have everything come together. But, at the same time, my hope can never be higher. I've also fully given in to my writer's voice and it reflects in everything I do and am. I hold pride with that. I'm more of a punk teen angst writer and that seems to resonate.

You can do anything you want as long as you're persistent and dedicated and don't take "no" for answer - every time somebody has said no (and it happens) it motivates me to work harder and harder to prove them wrong and gets me farther and farther. Just don't give up and you'll make it.
