And that is, being a teacher.
Yes, I have tattoos. But guess what? they don't accpet my one visable one, they are going to be missing out. Yes, I will cover it up at all time possible, but, if they say they wont hire me for that reason, they are missing out. I am following my dreams |

I've had a few teachers with tatoos, at least three whom I can think of immediately... it shouldn't be a problem! Congrats for following your dream! :-)

If you cover up the tattoo at your interview it shouldn't be an issue. You can always cover tats with band aids regardless of where they are, so even if they tell you to cover it it's really a quite minor thing.

Depending on the school, they might allow you to have tattoos.
I have 2 teachers that have visible tattoos on their wrists. It's great that you're going for what you want <3    |

They can't stop you from being a teacher unless it's an offensive tattoo, if they do get them for discrimination ¬.¬

A tattoo should not be judged over the knowledge and expertise you will bring forward to the school and its student. Best of luck. Those fools are certainly short-sighted.

Good luck with your goal, I'm sure your determination will get you what you want and if they don't allow you be a teacher because of your tattoos then it's their loss and I'm sure someone else will happily take you on regardless of tattoos or not! x

My teacher always said: no matter where you go and what you chose, if you really want to, you WILL be the best, and the chosen one.
btw im not sure about where you live But in Portugal (and the rest of europe i presume) when you you sue the school for discrimination (the fact of you having tattoos) you win 99% of the times and get your job Good luck! |
