So, my big life dream. - February 4th 2011, 08:23 AM

I've finally decided.
I'm gonna be a forensic psychologist, working in the penal system preferably.
I think it pays well enough. Its not like I'm a particularly needy person. As long as I can support myself, that's what matters.
And the work will be interesting and challenging.
I want to interact and help people.
Also, my mom always wanted me to work in the legal system. So it's a perfect combination of what both of us want.
I'm happy nao.

"Once a little boy sent me a charming card with a little drawing on it. I loved it.
I sent him a card and I drew a picture of a Wild Thing on it. I wrote,
“Dear Jim: I loved your card.”
Then I got a letter back from his mother and she said, “Jim loved your card so much he ate it.”
That to me was one of the highest compliments I’ve ever received. He didn’t care that it was an original Maurice Sendak drawing or anything.
He saw it, he loved it, he ate it."

I just went and read the Wikipedia article on that, and it sounds fascinating! That's wonderful.

Always good to have a solid goal like that. Congratulations, and good luck.

That sounds like such a cool job. I hope that you're able to meet your goal one day.

The day my parents agree with my intended future it will be because armageddon is coming..

But yeah - that is always wonderful to hear, that you're happy about it have your family's support. And congrats - I know you'll do well. Seems like something you'd be very suited for.
