School goals for the year?

I was wondering what goals everybody in school had for the year?

• I want to join more clubs this year.
• I want to get a 3.8 out of a 4.0 GPA.
• I want to be more supportive of school sports.
• I want to audition for all the plays and show productions.
• And I want to attend all the school dances and help with set-up.

Great idea for a thread! I have a few goals for this year..

• Maintaining 100% attendance
• Attending all lessons, even if it's one of those 'can't be bothered' days
• Not leaving work until a day before
• Working more in college library
• Speaking up more in class debates
• Keep using planner to track all work that needs to be done

I have a few goals for this year, I need to do these to give myself a good reputation to colleges/sixth forms I will apply for...

• Ensure I complete all work before or on their deadlines.
• Do not mess around in lessons unless the teacher cracks up a lame joke.
• Maintain 90% and plus, attendance.
• Participate in the school play.
• Work extra hard in drama.
• Participate in more school-based activities. (Become a year ambassador or something. )
• Seek support and advice when I need it.

• Pass my liberal arts and humanities courses with a score of 90% or higher
• Complete all of my community service/creativity hours
• Get an A on my Extended Essay
• Make physics a living hell for my teacher
• Demolish my math course
• Learn Linear Algebra by December, start Calc. 3 by January
• Attend more advanced lectures elsewhere
• Stop putting too much effort into classes in which my teacher has a predisposition to give me poor grades, regardless of the quality of my work

Hehe...

Last year was my first year in physics with this one particular teacher, and he had been teaching for several (7 or 8) without having had a student as interested in physics as I am...and I've taken a mirror image of his course before, as well as independent research and study, so I know the material (and pointed it out whenever I noticed something amiss). We were outside one day while he demonstrated some simple principle with a kickball -- and when the demo was done, he handed the ball to me and asked me to read it aloud in front of the class.

"I will not expose the ignorance of the faculty."

Now he checks with me every 5 minutes during a lecture in fear that he's made a mistake...

My goal is to complete my Advanced Apprenticeship in Children's Care, Learning and Development and also my Sign Language qualification. Both must be done by October.

I also plan to attend every single session of my Access to Nursing course and pass all my assessments with flying colours, so that I can go to university this time next year.

P.S. Yes, I'm old.

Well since I'm starting A levels this year I need to make some changes.

- Do not procrastinate so much when it comes to coursework.
- Learn to ask for help when I need it to avoid lower grades.

First I want to say thanks, I actually didn't have a list of goals before this and now I'm being made to think and prioritize which is nice.

-Get all of my homework in on time.
-Study even when I don't want to and am tired of looking at a certain subject.
-Limit or stop procrastination of homework.
-Do my homework where I can't get distracted by other hthings.
-Use the study halls I have this year to my advantage, I've never had more than one study hall a day so I'm going to try and use them as wisely as I can.
-Try and meet new people and join a new group of students.
-Figure out how to be more positive about the way people are towards me because they don't understand me.
-Try and find some sort of club or something to join even though my school is doing a ton of cuts because of there budget.
-Try and do as best as I can in my senior year.
-Apply for colleges and scholarships.
-Do as well as I can on the ACT's.
