There are only 2 things that I care about. I'm done trying to live my life for other people. It's killing me slowly. So, in the new year, I'm changing that.
-I'm going to live for myself alone. -I'm going to stop with the self-destructive behaviors. Oh, and as an added bonus, I'm going to try to write AT LEAST one song or poem a week.  Hopefully, all of this actually lasts past February.

Hey,
I think these are really great goals. It is really important that you put yourself before other people sometimes; we have to make ourselves happy first because it's our own lives, not anyone else's! As for the self destructive behaviors, it's really admirable that you have decided to give them up. It'll make you extremely proud of yourself getting past them, which is such an amazing feeling. And the writing - that's really wonderful too! Hopefully you can write some really good stuff to maybe post in self expression?!  I wish you the best of luck with your resolutions!
