I am trying the butterfly project. My goal is not to cut until my butterfly fades.

I am so glad that you decided to try the butterfly project. It was always something that kept me going in the path of recovery. You can even have your friends(those that know) draw butterflies on you too. Those are extra special butterflies.

This is a great idea! The butterfly project is one of the techniques that always stood out to me as one of the most meaningful ones. It's a brilliant way to help yourself move forward with your recovery, and I'm so glad you're trying it. When it fades, try to keep not cutting. I also want to know what you've named your butterfly, btw.
