My Dream Is... -

I'm a 14 year old girl with a journal full of songs I've wrote and a dream of become a famous singer one day. The problem is, I don't know where to start on making my dream come true? I need help. Does anyone have any advice or anyone I could possibly contact and talk to and/or to help me record my songs?

Well, if I may offer some advice I would say that practicing learning other people's songs is a great way to improve your singing and your writing. It is also helpful to play guitar or piano if you want to be a singer because then you can accompany yourself.
At the school I study at, Berklee College of Music in Boston, there is a songwriting major! So if you continue to dream of being a singer you can come here. Another thing to consider is becoming a songwriter, you don't have to sing your own things necessarily, and if you write a hit you will make a lot of money. If you have any questions about music feel free to ask! I have some friends who are singers that I can ask specific questions about voice about. Best of luck with your dream! Practice practice practice. |
