Time to change... - February 14th 2012, 01:38 PM

Today I have decided its time to change myself, I've hated myself and my weaknesses for a long time now, but have always thought that I loved myself as a character and was not willing to change. I will be attempting to change myself during the course of this year, whilst still trying to maintain what I am proud of about myself. I'm posting this on here so that anyone can see it.

Help and advice would be much appreciated. And if anyone else feels like changing themselves, DO IT. Let's see if this shit is possible!

If anything, anyone can look at my ramblings on this here blog and see what kind of person I am. I'm sure I'm better off than most, but that's irrelevant.

First step: Quit smoking.

Having a little ritual, burning my last pack of smokes and then flushing the ashes down the toilet so bbl with some photos.

So there we go, I feel a bit bad for the plumbing but that's about it. Lighters are all in the bin, and this be the end of that.

In any case, I'll try and be a jackass more (as I used to be), because quite frankly being nice to people who don't deserve it hasn't gotten me far. I've changed for all the new people I've met and decency's sake, but I've always been brutally honest and used to say what I mean and say what I mean... Whereas ATM I do not think what I say and do not say what I think or even give the appropriate facial expression for the occasion (anger or disgust).

That's for this week, but, anyway...

K, so, sleeping early is not working out well but otherwise things are okay.

Going to bed right after this post, so that's very early by my standards. I've still got a long way to go before I'll be where I want to be. I'm still being a pushover, which will require lots of attention for me to fix. Gotta be brutal... Anyway...

Step Three: Work Hard

I'll be going to my classes everyday, from 8:30 till at least 16:00 I'll try to work my ass off even though I'll get ahead - if I do it's for the better anyway. I've been slacking off and falling behind as a result. So instead of slacking of at the expense of others and myself, I'll be sure to do what I know I should and take responsibility for my actions.

These all seem like excellent goals. The best of luck with all of them!

Rescue is possible. Love is the movement ♥
