Is sexting rape/abuse?
I have never myself sexted but I have a friend who does so, I feel awkward Tallinn about it but I just feel tht it's not the best thing to be doin over the Internet/over text. I was wondering if it is rape/abuse tho.

It's not rape. But it can be abuse if one of the people participating want's to stop but the other persists in sending explicit messages.

No, it's not rape OR abuse, even if one party doesn't want it.
Though, if one party doesn't want it and the other person persists then it becomes sexual harassment. |

Technically neither would be considered rape/abuse. But if you are worried about your friend you should talk to them about it! Just a thought! Shelby |

Not rape but it could be abuse/sexual exploitation. Depends on the circumstances though. If one person said they would do it and both people agreed to keep between them and then the image is posted online in some countries this could be considered abuse/sexual exploitation. Once the image is sent you loose all control of that image. So it depends on circumstance really. I would suggest against sexting myself.

As the others have said, it's not rape nor is it abuse.. however, it IS dangerous and can cause a lot of problems.
