I could feel it tearing me from inside out
With all the pain and fear there's still a doubt
Like it's my fault, like what did I do wrong?
Even though it wasn't and I've known all along
I was in denial, i just couldn't admit
That this could happen to me, what is this shit?
I was young and scared so I put it aside
You said you loved me, wanted to make me your bride
But love isn't made from fear and pain
He used me, abused me all in vain
What do I do now that I realized the truth?
A permanent scar staining my youth
I need to move on but no matter where I go
The memories follow of me saying "no"

this is beautiful, and can be said for many things other than rape as well, though rape is the obvious one. I'm sorry if this happened to you, but you are a brilliant poet.
“Go where you are celebrated – not tolerated. If they can’t see the real value of you, it’s time for a new start.”
Dont be afraid to stand for what you believe in, even if that means standing alone..
“Self confidence is the most attractive quality a person can have. how can anyone see how awesome you are if you can’t see it yourself?”
“When the past calls, let it go to voicemail, believe me, it has nothing new to say.”
