Should I Tell? - May 22nd 2016, 12:20 AM

This thread has been labeled as triggering, particularly on the subject of rape or abuse, by the original poster or by a Moderator. The contents of this thread might therefore not be suitable for certain sensitive users. Please take this into consideration before continuing to read.

I've posted about my sexual abuse before so I'm following up. I'm about 4 1/2 pregnant (with my uncle) and I'm terrified. He's always forcing me to do things that are sexual or just full on doing it. The problem is I'm pregnant now but idk if I should tell him or wait until he finds out. I'm scarec of getting the crap beat out of me it's happened before.

Hey,
Dont tell him. Call child protection. They will take care of you, and also get your uncle arrested or whatever. If I were I'd call child protection.
Best of luck

I'd call child services as well, or your local police department on what he's been doing. You can't go on living with someone who treats you like this, no one should be treated like this. You should report it, and they'll be able to get you the help you need, and take care of your uncle.

Re: Should I Tell? - May 22nd 2016, 04:20 AM

I am so sorry this is happening to you.

I would actually tell your mom or dad and tell them you are pregnant. have them take you to the doctors and do a work up on you and your pregnancy. I would also ask your mom and dad to go with you to make a police report. Because you being pregnant is proof that something is wrong with yours and your uncles relationship. Or if you don't want to tell your parents I would tell someone at your school like a teacher your trust or the school counselor and they will help you tell your parents and call the police and CPS.

I know it sucks and it's hard. I never told on my abusers when I was molested by my foster sister and a guy at a safe house. I regret it because the guy keeps contacting me. I think you should tell someone you trust and get help you need.

And please get checked out by the doctor for your pregnancy so you can get the proper vitamins and care for the child. if you keep the child or give them up for adoption you want to give birth to a healthy baby.

If you ever need to talk I am a PM/VM away.

Okay tell someone you trust like a teacher or therapist.

Hey there,

I agree that you should tell someone you trust about this. I think that telling a teacher or a counselor at school would be helpful because they'd be able to help you talk to the police and give you support while you go through the process of explaining this to the police.

I do think that telling the police is important so that you can be safely removed from the home so that you no longer have to deal with your uncle abusing you.
