Hey there,
I don't think your brother should be masturbating in front of you at all. That's not a normal or healthy sibling relationship to have and it can be really damaging and abusive. I think you should tell your brother you want it to stop and also talk to your parents about it. He needs to know it's not okay and you deserve the support of your parents through this. I hope you're doing alright. Feel free to PM me if you need anything. <3 Emily "Sometimes it's a struggle to be not who you want to be, not who you used to be, not who you're going to be, but just being right where you are, who you are" ![]() |

I'd honestly tell your parents. It definitely isn't normal for him to do it in front of you, and really not something you should be forced to see. It could lead to other things that are even worse. Don't look at it as getting him in trouble. It would help him far more to have this issue dealt with so he realizes it's not acceptable, rather than leaving it be.

I think you should talk to your brother and tell him to stop- that it makes you uncomfortable. If he then does not stop you do need to go to your parents because it is a form of sexual abuse. I would say go to your parents right away but I understand that you dont want your brother to get in trouble. Maybe talk to your parents one on one (without your brother) first and explain what happens, that it makes you uncomfortable and that you think he needs to get some help. Maybe your brother should be seeing a therapist or something, I dont know. Like I said, I think you should talk to your parents first and then have them help you talk to your brother but if you cant do that, make sure you take to your brother about it to get the behavior to stop.
