please help! i dont know how to feel.. - September 4th 2010, 04:22 AM

i dont realy know how to say this because i know its probably not even comparable to some of the other stuff you girls go through but i just feel sort of lost and confused.

2 years ago i was at a festival, lost my friends, and took a drink from 3 guys i didnt know who said they'd help me find my friends. next thing i know is i wake up in some random tent and well...i know sumthin happend. i was a virgin and so i bled.

i just feel so violated and confused because i dont know if maybe i initiated it? it could have been my own fault but i cant member.. thats the problem.

i dont know how to feel..am i being over dramatic? do i deserve 2 be upset about it or should i jus move on nd get over it? please help id realy appreciate it..

Definitely not your own fault, seriously- they gave you a drink and you cant remember so I guess they drugged you? Either way, you don't remember / you weren't in control of yourself so that's them taking advantage... so it's rape.
And yes you deserve to be upset.. its probably going to affect you a lot even though you dont remember...
Have you told friends/family? If not, I really think you should- talking about it with somebody will help. I'm no professional, I don't even give good advice, but Id be willing to listen if you want to talk to somebody , so send me a message if you wish? xx
Just remember it's not your fault at all, dont blame yourself. Nobody deserves that

It's not your fault at all, even though you may believe it is. what those men did was wrong. It's something that takes time to comprehend and handle, and to feel upset it completely natural. The best thing to do is find someone you can talk to, maybe a friend, family member, or even better, a counsellor or psychologist. It will probably be hard at first, but in the long run, its the thing that will help the most. Hang in there!
