Question I don't know what happened - June 16th 2011, 04:03 AM

When i was younger I had a lot of inappropriate experiences. I'm thirteen now and on depression medication, and I've quit self mutilation for a while, just so you know where I'm at. When I was younger, I had severe infections in my bladder and I'd pee blood a lot. if I laughed, it helped the pain of using the bathroom, and my dad would "tickle" touch me down there so I'd laugh and wouldn't be in pain. But now I'm not sure if this was so right. It went on for two years, then stopped when my mother found out, they got in a fight about it. I'm not sure what to do with the memory of this. I love my dad, but....should I talk about this with someone? My mother is still fuming about it 9'rents are divorced)

Go to your most trusted friend. Even if you love your dad to death (I know it hurts to think about it) there may be a really scary side to him you don't know about... talk to a friend or some one for advice. I will help the best I can if you wish. PM me.

I'm here to help, If you need anything I will try and help you as best as possible! PM me

It might be that the experience is repressed from your mind, as traumatic events can cause you to block things out, without realizing it. It seems your mom might know something about this, however. So maybe you should sit her down and ask her what happened. If not her, then you could try your school counselor.

Hey,

It was wrong for your dad to touch you like that. I know you love your dad, but what he did was wrong. If the memory is bugging you a lot, you should talk to someone about this. It's not good to keep all this inside. The more you talk, the better you will begin to feel. Keep a watch out around your dad. I'm not saying he will touch you inappropriately again; it's just a good idea to keep your guard up around him.

Take care,
Kitty.
