Post Research - March 22nd 2009, 04:23 PM

So I'm doing an argumentitive research paper on Child Abuse and how society, parents and the government aren't doing enough to stop it.

My teacher said I should interview someone because I don't really have anymore to add to my paper. Since its a research paper, I can't add anything from my personal experiences and I wouldn't want to, but I was wondering if anyone would be will to let me put some of someones responses in it. I think that if I added something personal about how much abuse affects us then it will help get my point across. I only need one person and like 5 or 6 questions. It would help a lot.

Hey Christina!

It would be cool if you got 5-6 responses from all different people, just so that people knows that rape affects more people than meets the eye. Also, perhaps, you could talk to a family member or friend of someone who has been raped or abused since it will probably also indirectly affect them.

Normally, we're all pretty open about our experiences. I personally can't help you with this one, but what I recommended to the last person who needed something like this was that they post their questions in the forum and just see what kind of responses they get. Again, I know this is a sensitive topic, but I assure you that you'll get several replies. Then, if you see one that catches your eye or something, you could PM the user. Just a though.

Good luck on your paper!

While I haven't suffered child abuse myself my mom comes in contact with the children of abusive parents every day. Additionally she sees first had what child protection does or doesn't do for them. If you are interested I would be happy to ask her any questions you come up with. Good luck on your paper. PM me if you want my help.

I could help you with this if you like, but you'd have to pm me.
