poem...thoughts

I wrote a poem for me and my friend and our experiences of rape/molestation so feedback would be great thanks..


One Day

You feel so lost, confused, and unclean.
For you feel his actions you should have foreseen.
You hold so much shame and guilt.
You feel that one touch from you would make even the most beautiful rose wilt.
It's just so hard to always ask why,
ask why he made your innocence die.
For you were so young and you felt no where near was your guardian angel.
So you just stayed so still,
in order to try to make the time pass quicker.
You didn't know what he would do if you began to plead "STOP!" or started to bicker.
So in that God forsaken place you laid there as part of you died.
During it all all you wanted to do was scream and cry.
So after he was through,
cry is exactly what you did do.
With the first sexual touch he hurt you in ways no man should.
He shattered what was once your girlhood.
Now although it's been years your trust in men is still slim.
For your memories are grim.
At night sometimes you replay it in your head,
Wondering will this pain go away before I'm dead?
Searching for an answer to his deeds.
Wondering why he used you for his sexual needs.
But now though it still hurts you know that the place he hurt you wasn't God forsaken,
God was with you the whole time cryin'.
Crying to see His little girl hurting, breaking, and feeling so alone.
But knowing one day the truth will be known.
That bad things happen because God gave man freewill,
Yet for those who believe in Him with that freewill will be healed.
The healing may not happen over night,
It will take a good hard fight.
But one day the pain will go away.
One day there will be no more evil, hurt, tears or fray.
One day all who believe will live in a place where His love reigns.
One day we will live in his domain.
On that day He'll show you how He's worked things out for good for those who loved Him and who are called to his purpose.
He'll show you that in His eyes you still hold your innocence and are blameless.
Oh, one day, yes one day the pain will decrease.
And one day He will bring you peace.

This is a really great poem.
I can relate to it.
I'm glad you wrote it but I'm sorry you had to go through that.
