What do I do now? - April 4th 2012, 02:35 AM

About 6 months ago I think I was sexually abused. I say "I Think" because I wanted to do it. You see I was with my best friend and he asked me to have sex. We love each other but i said no. I told him i wanted to have sex but not at my age. I wanted to wait till i got married. He kept asking so i left and went to the other room. When i came back he grabbed me and rubbed his hands all over my body. I'm a confused teen so naturally i wanted to have sex but he knew i didn't want to at the time. he violated me. I really want to tell my best friend because im tired of keeping this secret. how do i tell her?

Hi Mandy,

You tell her the same way you told us. Just add a piece in there about why you're telling her and what you want from her.

PM me with the link of the post you'd like me to respond to.

Hey Mandy,

You should just tell her what you told us. Ask her if you two can talk face-to-face and explain to her what's happened; or you can show her this post, or write a more personalized letter to her. Either way, I'm glad that you are wanting to talk about what happened to you. It's important in order to cope. Good luck!

You should tell your friend what you told us. Add in any information that you feel comfortable sharing with her and let her know that you could really use her support. It really is great that you want to share what happened - it will help you to cope so much better. Good luck!

wanderlust consumed her;
foreign hearts & exotic minds compelled her.
she had a gypsy soul
and a vibrant heart for the unknown.
