Multiple Personality taken to the extreme - June 14th 2012, 12:56 AM

I'm new here, but i have a very serious problem and I've been searching for help, this are the main points:

>I have 15 different split personalities
>Each none is a different person, with different stories and problems
>I can have lucid dreams
>I already identified and known them, but it didn't help
>I went to a psychologist but she didn't knew what to do
>Can't afford a therapist
>I can see them in real life, even when they cannot touch me
>All of them know i can see and hear them
>I canīt concentrate, so I'm clumsy all the time and canīt focus for more than 10 seconds

I just want to have a normal life, not with this, a friends says it's a gift because i know my mental state all the time but it's a way too heavy charge for me. What should I do? (I don't want medication)

This sounds a lot like DID to me, though do NOT take that as a diagnosis, especially since you didn't mention dissociation. My recommendation would be to find a psychiatrist who can understand the disorder and go from there. From someone who has had multiple personalities in the past, this is definitely something that needs looking into immediately.

This is the last night you spend alone
Look me in the eyes so I know you know
I'm everywhere you want me to be
The last night you'll spend alone
I'll wrap you in my arms and I won't let go
I'm everything you need me to be

~Skillet - The Last Night

When Michael died, Megan was born. And I won't go back for anything.

Aha, so you did find the site after all. I've already told you what my opinions are, though. Welcome to Teenhelp.

michaelxlife: I apreciate the song in your signature. I love that song.

Have you been diagnosed by a psychiatrist? If you haven't seen one, I'd strongly recommend it. Psychiatrists are registered doctors, so they are better prepared to deal with very serious problems like this.

If you don't mind me asking, why are you not open to taking medication?

Bonjour: I invited him to this site after a lenghty conversation on another site.

He told me that his biggest fear is forgetting how to cope, should he ever be taken off the medication.

Just as i said before, my family canīt afford a psychiatrist. I don't want medication because most of them cause dependence, and my system is weak, my liver would die after some months of medication (even with extra medications for the liver).

Michael, I have already identified them all, even i know their storyes and (own) thoughts, the problem is I can't stop them, or at least 'minimize the window', this is why I'm here.

Hello, and welcome to TeenHelp!

I strongly suggest that you see a psychological professional who specializes in dissociative disorders. There ARE people who can see you for a lower fee, so call around and explain what's going on.

I can't diagnose you, but from what you're describing, this doesn't sound quite like DID (or MPD, as it used to be called). People with DID can talk to their other personalities (and vice versa), but I've never heard of people with DID being able to SEE their personalities (which makes sense, if you think about it). Visual hallucinations are usually connected to mental disorders like schizophrenia, not DID.

It's very, very important that you receive the CORRECT diagnosis, and that you also rule out general medical conditions that could be causing (some or all of) these symptoms.

I have good news everybody After struggling a little bit, I finally got enough money for a session, so, this Wednesday I'm going to a psephologist for a psychological test plus an hour session for talking about this.
