"Personal skills counselling" - June 18th 2012, 07:43 AM

Okay, so, as part of my sentence, the judge who sentenced me has ordered me to undergo "personal skills counselling". This means nothing to me but sounds suspiciously like something DBT related.

Two questions: One, what the heck is it?
Two: If I'm currently involved in mental health services, does a court order usually over-ride that? Does anybody know?

Alcohol doesn't solve any problems.
But then again, neither does milk.

Here's the biggest difference between you and me:
I do not always know if I will stay alive to see
All the beautiful things that life has to offer
((Some days I feel that peace is found in the darkness of a coffin.))

And in the corner of my heart
There's a space reserved for you.

I had no idea but I was curious so I found this: http://www.thecounsellorsguide.co.uk...knowledge.html and if you scroll down to personal skills it explains what they are so counselling is probably to help you learn some of that stuff. As for the second question I have no idea but don't you have someone that works with you on the case or you can go to for questions relating to you sentence? Sorry if I wasn't much of a help! But things are different in every country.

Whatever it is, chances are I've been there.
If I can make it out, you can too.
