Dreams - October 7th 2012, 08:39 AM

I'm sick of dreaming. Absolutely sick of it.

I've read that we dream every night. I've also read that 90% of people forget their dreams within 10 minutes of waking up. Well, I'm certainly not in that 90%

I can remember most, if not all, my dreams. 4-5 each night. Sometimes less. It all depends. On what, I don't know. But I'm so sick of it. They're not even particularly bad. Just, annoying.

It's got to the point where I'm not too sure what I dreamt and what actually happened. Like, a few nights ago, I dreamed that I told my aunt quite a lot of stuff that my dad did, which I would never tell her. Ever. I was so certain it happened, and I brought it up with my aunt the next day. Let's just say she was confused. And I really doubt that she forgot something like that. That's only one of the times. At school I start talking about something which I am certain I told my friends . . . nope . . . turns out I dreamt it. Rather awkward, I must say. And happened more than once

I don't know what to do. I'm scared to sleep because I hate being so confused with reality. It's really messing with my head.

Do you generally have a good memory? It just seems like you're the type of person who's capable of remembering almost everything, which as amazing as that sounds, it extremely painful and unhealthy - as you probably know based on your dreams. Best bet is go to some sort of psychiatric or psychologist and ask them for help.

A few things you must know about me.

1. Social interactions are confusing. I may offend you. Don't take it the wrong way.

2. If you need help, regardless of what it is, you can always pm me.

3. I'm brutally honest. Sugar coating is more brutal.

4. You, yes the person reading this, is a spectacular lovely person. Don't let anybody tell you different.

Best Anti-Suicide advertisement, especially considering it's not even about suicide.

I do that too sometimes! Have you ever tried taking some sleeping meds? I mean I know it sounds weird that I'd be trying to get you to sleep, since obviously that's the problem, but the sleeping meds have a way of putting you into a deep sleep, which might cause you to sleep through the dreams and not remember them. I'm the same way, and I have a problem with having lucid dreams. Sometimes they help me.

A beautiful thing is never perfect.

I do generally have a good memory, I guess. Kinda annoying, but also very handy for exams.

I'll try a sleeping pill . . . see if that does anything
