Imaginary pain. - March 20th 2013, 01:35 AM

Okayso this one i want help on, because i never seen or heard of a person with this problem. Well if you knew me you'd know i like to escape in games and books and comics, I started doing this around when i was ten, i even have my own mind character, The places i go normally are in dc comics naruto, final-fantasy ect. So you may have noticed that mainly consists of violence, so im fighting alot in my head. i have got to the point where i feel the pain...Its most bad when going to sleep. I try to stop the thoughs but my mind it normally all over the place. for example, i try to think of somthing nice, the sword coming to stab me in the gut over powers that, i try to fly, i end up falling...I think i messed up myself. but i researched it, and i didn't find people with imaginary pain.

So my question is...Whats wrong with my mind?

Nothing is wrong with you. Your mind is a powerful thing and it's not uncommon or impossible to imagine pain.
For example whenever I'm in class and we're learning about something painful I often find that I can feel the pain we're hearing about even though I'm just sitting at my desk in university.

Maybe you could try to distract yourself when you're trying to sleep by reading a non-violent book before bed?

I tryed but i grew up with those things they just stick to my mind, i feeel ike nothing else can compare too it. For example, i haven't read batman in a week, i have been reading skip beat. But the story of batman and the violence with batman and every other violent thing rises up, i cant control it. I always tell myself its your mind kitty get a grip...Nothing, if anything it gets worse... I cant even control my dreams...

I really do think it might be just your imagination, maybe stay away from violent thoughts?
