Dissociative Identity Disorder - April 26th 2014, 06:49 AM

So my therapist recently suggested that I go and make friends with other people that have DiD because I'm a shut in, and it would be good for me to know people that can understand me.

Unfortunately I never developed the skill of friend making. If we were to meet in public I'd probably either wave my hand in front of your face and shout, "Hi!" or mouse up and not speak or look at you.

Anywho, if there is anyone out there that has DiD, or would like to learn more about it, or who thinks they might have it. I've got eyes to listen, and fingers to talk

While I don't have DiD, or Multiple Personality Disorder as it was previously named, I have met people who suffer it and I do know a reasonable amount about the disorder. I can't imagine how it must be for you having to live your life with personality switches and such but I think already you're an extremely brave and courageous person for being so willing to discuss it with others if they wished to know more.

Life is for living, not for losing.

[font="Lucida Sans Unicode"]Hi there! I'm on my phone, so I can't make a long post right now. But I do suffer with dissociation as well. Feel free to send me a message whenever you'd like to!
