Best I have been in awhile - September 26th 2014, 08:55 AM

As some of you may have noticed that I have been away or logging on not so much lately. I was diagnosed with Bipolar rapid cycling and Schizophrenia. I have been in many treatment programs. My symptoms were just being managed but when I left the controlled environment of my home for my new home college. It was like something snapped worse then before. I became really depressed and suicidal. I thought every night a new plan to end my life. I told a friend one day and she helped me find the support at school I needed. But the counselor decided I should move back home and start treatment. First I went to medical doctor and everything was out of wack so we worked to get it back to normal. Then I worked to get a counselor. He helped me find some ways to cope but that wasn't enough so we went on the tract of meds. He said I was the worst case he has EVER seen and I'm like can you help me. I have tried over 20 meds before I got on the layering of meds I am on now. Now my mental health is like I can think again and better then ever before. I have the best grades I have ever had in my life. I have one-hundred percent in all my college classes. Everything is great for me mentally. I can't believe it life got so much better for me I can say I am better than I ever was mentally. Things that used to trigger me don't anymore. I hope it can stay this way. Remember there is always hope when you search for it but time may stop you from finding it quickly so don't loose hope EVER.

It sounds like you have been through a long and hard journey. I understand what you have gone through because I also have bipolar disorder, and it is a rough and hard thing to manage and treat. So I commend you on not giving up and finding the best treatment for yourself. I am very proud of you! I am also glad that you got to go back to college and are getting 100%'s. If you ever start to have problems again and need someone to talk or even if you don't have to much going on, but still want someone to talk to I am always here just PM me. Good Luck with your RECOVERY
