No one wants my case - October 2nd 2014, 06:59 AM

When I got back from treatment I went to my therapist and I asked for a new one she said she would put in a request. Well after two weeks I messaged her and told her no one contacted me and she said she would put the request in again. Well it's been three or four weeks So I emailed my therapist that passed me on to the one I don't like and asked if she could take me back and that I'm doing good in recovery and really want it....But even she hasn't replied to me.

I have Kaiser so I can't go find a therapist on my own it has to be a request. So I just feel worthless and like a loss cause.

Hey Frankie, given your insurance, this isn't surprising. My mom had Kaiser and switched because they were not good. Anyway, I can understand how you came to feel the way you do, but it may have nothing to do with you. It can take FOREVER for professionals to actually answer their e-mail because of how many they get (or if they ask that you not email them and then you do, they may not answer it on principle). Or it could be that the person you contacted isn't in the position to provide an answer so she just didn't respond (I have an advisor like that, drives me nuts).
