Okay, so before anyone starts freaking out. I HAVE NOT murdered anyone, however....I have a strong urge to...it use to be only my sister who i wanted to kill but lately it's been random people. i picture them dying in various ways and the thought makes me feel calm when i think about it.. and no i haven't planned to kill anyone, i'm more of a reactionary person so if i was were to be attacked, that would mostly likely get me to strike back

i don't want to talk to a therapist about it because they'll put me in the mental hospital and i have work and school and i can't afford it

does anyone knows, why i have these thoughts? i'm not really bothered by them, i'm just curious as to why...

I don't want to stop the thoughts though...they make me happy...
the thoughts of murder are consistent usually...but im curious if this goes under some mental disorder?

I think everyone from time to time has thoughts like that, especially if they're irritated with someone. I think that as long as you're not planning on actually acting upon them then there really is nothing to worry about!

It's sounds like your having intrusive thoughts, which can be apart of OCD. I can't diagnose you with this, because I'm not a doctor or license trained therapist or psychiatrist. I will put a link to what it is about. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Intrusive_thoughts A therapist can't commit you to a psych hospital for these thoughts, unless you say your going to or have already acted upon them. I do think that you should try and seek help. I have OCD not this type, but I do have it and I know how hard dealing with intrusive thoughts are. If you ever need someone to talk to or someone that can relate, feel free to PM or VM me. I hope that you can soon get some relief from these thoughts.

I think it really depends on the intensity to act on these thoughts and how frequent they are as to whether you should be concerned about them. I do think it's concerning that they tend to calm you down and make you happy. The best thing to do would be to see a therapist because only they can get to the root of why you have these thoughts and if it's related to any sort of mental illness. They will not send you to a psychiatric ward unless you are feeling that you are a danger to others and are going to act on these thoughts. I'm not a professional, but I think it could be a symptom of a mental disorder and only a professional can tell you that for sure. You should reach out about this to someone you trust in your life, such as family or your doctor. It's scary and awkward, but there's definitely something not right here.

Best of luck,

“There is nothing beautiful about the wreckage of a human being.
There is nothing pretty about damage, about pain, about heartache.
What is beautiful is their strength, their resilience, their fortitude
as they display an ocean of courage when they pick through the
wreckage of their life to build something beautiful brand new,
against every odd that is stacked against them.” — Nikita Gill

Some people can be irritating. And you may feel the urge to kill someone. However, that will just get you a life sentence. you may be stressed out. I suggest seeing your doctor if it continues.
