Emotions and expression -

I have always had difficulty with expressing myself. My feelings thoughts and emotions have never quite been explained as I would have liked to. I used to write poetry, write in my journal, I used to draw but drawing never quite turned out how I wanted it.. Do any of you guys have any tips or ideas of how I can put out my mental health in a more verbal and visual way? I know this should probably go in the self-expression forum but I wanted it to go here because I want to explain how I am mentally if that makes any sense? thank you x

Do you play any instruments? I express myself through the piano and the guitar. Also art is great. There are so many ways to express yourself but you should find what you have a passion for the most. PM me if you have any questions?^^

Personally, I have always found that keeping a journal and making entries often helps me sort through what I may be feeling or going through at a particular time. But everyone is different.
What about about some type of physical or performing art such as dance, theatre, or even yoga? I realize these things may not be for everyone, but it may be a way to express yourself while burning some energy at the same time. In any event, I hope you find something you are happy with.
