Going into the hospital or going to a therapist or anything for any sort of mental health problem aren't supposed to affect your future chance of getting a job for anything. In fact, that kind of information isn't supposed to be shared with your employers and whatnot.

This is what I heard, where I heard from my boyfriend when he went to the hospital, where he heard from his father who heard it from a professional So I'm pretty sure it really shouldn't affect your job. Though who knows, maybe a nurse would be different. lol idk

Maybe talk to someone who knows for sure? Like someone who would be getting you into the hospital and whatnot.

Take me seriously.
I dare you.

Yeah, you won't be "disqualified" from being a nurse or really anything. As TheBabyEater said, your future employers and schools will not know about your medical history.

The only thing you need to do is make sure you are mentally and emotionally able to work in a mental hospital. To put it mildly, you see a lot of "triggering" situations in a mental hospital and as a professional, you cannot let your emotions get in the way. So just keep that in mind

Good luck!
