Over emotional? - March 25th 2010, 01:14 AM

I don't know if this is the right place to post this...but...I don't know...I think of myself as a pretty level headed person, for what good that means. When I'm by myself, you know, reading a book or something like that, I feel emotions, but...it like a standard amount.

But if I'm in a movie theater, or a party or someplace with alot of people...i lose it. I don't get panicy or agitated, i just...I get almost TOO into the mood. If everyone else is happy, I feel euphoric. If everyone else is scared, I'm terrified. Yet if I'm watching the movie by myself, it's not that bad. The same movie...doesn't scare me as much as it did when I'm watching it with the crowd. It is, and scary...If I'm at a friends house, and we're all dancing to music, I might, just...lose myself in the moment?

My friend said that I'm just very perspective, but it seems more then that, like I can't control it...

I'm not sure if I'm looking for advise, a name for this, or just some confirmation that someone else is feeling this as well.

Sounds like you could just be feeding on everyone's emotions. Going with the flow, so to speak. :] It's actually pretty normal, most people just can't tell the difference.
