Why do I feel like I'm spinning? - July 1st 2010, 10:03 PM

I often get sea sickness, when on a boat, but I NEVER get car sick, I actually read in the car comfortably.

(By the way, I think I might have paranoid schizophrenia, if that's any help... I'm also clinically depressed.)

I went on a spinning chair about 6 hours ago, and have been fine since, but now I feel like I'm spinning, and my view is DEFINITELY spinning. It was fine earlier, I don't know why it would come up now... Is there something wrong, I can barely type, thank god I can touch type! Or I wouldn't be able to type this...

Is there anything wrong?

Cheers

I don't know if anything is wrong, but I can tell you right now that I have something similar happen, and its nothing to do with "Paranoid Schizophrenia".

Ok, so I started a job, and it involves pushing carts and shifting tables. Since starting, I've had problems only when I try to sleep. I feel like I'M shifting around, sliding in the directions these tables slide in. It only hits me when I try to sleep.

It may be just repetitive motions playing tricks on your mind, and I'd think it's only something to be concerned about if it goes on for a long period of time.

I have had this before. When I went to DisneyWorld and went on a lot of rides, I could 'feel them' at night.
When I had to go up and down an elevator a lot for a couple days, I could 'feel the elevator' at night.
