Question The Jennie Wade House - July 6th 2010, 05:40 AM

I'm not real sure where this thread should go, to me this seems like the best place but I'm not sure. It's not really mental health I guess, but there isn't a place to just post odd paranormal encounters.

A few nights ago, when we were still on vacation, my parents took my siblings and I to the Jennie Wade house. It is said to be the sixth most haunted house in Americia. We were spossed to tell our guide if we saw, heard, felt, or smelled anything out of the ordenary. Needless to say, since I told you that, I didn't tell her everything that I felt, smelled, saw, heard, or whatever. When we were in the upstairs room where two Union soldiers broke down the wall so they could get the family through to safety, I saw a shadow. The room was full of people, like at least maybe twenty people. I wasn't sure if it was just my imagation or what.

Before I say more I would like to tell you guys that I do believe in the paranormal, and I refuse to believe that I am going crazy.

At our hotel that night I was getting ice for our cooler. I put the ice bucket under the thing, and pressed it. I felt someone starring at me. I could literaly feel their hatered for me. I was terrified. Of course, I didn't tell me parents or siblings. I'm the only one in my entire family who truely believes in the paranormal, everyone else would just think that I'm crazy. I was forced to go back to the ice machine three more times, each time I could feel invisable eyes starring at me, penarating into my skin.

When we were walking out of the hotel the next morning I felt the being's hatered for me all over again.

I was sitting at the computer the night we came home from vacation. The room was completely light, and it was night time. I was alone in the basement like I am now. A shadow covered me and again I felt the hatered. It was a man's shadow. It was very large, and very scary looking(well, to me at least).

Today, our second day back from vacation, I was walking to the bathroom to take a shower. I stopped in my parents room to get a new towel. I felt somebody starring at me. I hurried out of there and took my shower.

I'm sitting in the basement again, and I can still feel the eyes starring into my back. I'm terrified right now. I'm not crazy, I know that much. I haven't been this scared since three years ago when I was ten. The shadow just moved over me again.

This has just started happening since we went to the Jennie Wade house. Please help?

Im not sure exactly what is going on to be honest and I dont know how to deal with it beyond what some of my friends have experienced with the paranormal. My friends have told me that with their experiences they have just asked the "person" to leave. For example my friend was at home alone sitting on her couch when a pillow slide across the couch. She figured it was her uncle who she had never met because he had passed away as a child. She said out loud that she was scared and wanted him to leave her alone and she never had another issue again. I have heard similar stories about people just asking to be left alone and not having the experiences again. Maybe you could try that. Sorry Im not much help. Good luck.

Hey!

If Karyn hadn't of said it first - I would have told you the same thing! Just ask politely first. It's strange though that a "ghost" would follow you home, usually they stay where they are...

In any case, just ask him to leave you alone.

So much for that idea ...
