The world ain't all sunshine and rainbows.
It is a very mean and nasty place and it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it.
You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain't how hard you hit; it's about how hard you can get hit, and keep moving forward.
How much you can take, and keep moving forward.
PM me if you need to talk about ANYTHING.

Hey there, Jamie!

Goodness, you sound like me as far as the whole being addicted to being busy thing goes! I absolutely love being busy. It keeps me sane. Really. However, I do realize that there comes a time when sometimes you just have to slow down and take a deep breath so you don't get burned out. For some of us, we don't realize this till we're ALREADY quite burned out. That's always frustrating. The good news, though, is that there are ways around the feeling of being burned out! It doesn't last forever.

Check out Mayo Clinic's Relaxation Techniques, which can hopefully give you some ideas and tips on how to chill yourself out a little bit! Also, remember that even if you still FEEL as burned out when you get enough sleep, your body functions a LOT better when you get 8-9 hours of sleep, so don't sell yourself short, especially if you do have the time to get the proper amount of sleep. Otherwise, keep yourself hydrated (which will also help you physically...and will in turn most likely make you feel better mentally as well.

Good luck! I hope everything slows down for you soon. Cherish those weekends!
