being too strong for too long? - November 2nd 2010, 02:12 AM

do you ever feel like your being too strong sometimes? do you ever just WANT to break down and let it all out but can't? i've been keeping my emotions to myself for the sake of not wanting to my boyfriend think im unhappy because i am EXTREMELY happy with him...when i hear from him that if the distance is killing me and i keep it in, i talk about it to a few odd friends once in a while but it doesn't help i want to cry and let it out but i can't and i don't know why...does anyone else ever have this problem is it even really a bad thing im so tired of being strong but i dont want to break down either i just want to let it out

The world ain't all sunshine and rainbows.
It is a very mean and nasty place and it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it.
You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain't how hard you hit; it's about how hard you can get hit, and keep moving forward.
How much you can take, and keep moving forward.
PM me if you need to talk about ANYTHING.

I've been there. I still am sometimes. I can totally relate to that. You'll eventually let it out, one way or another.. If somthings bugging you, its so much easier just to get it off your chest, then move on. So you can do your best and succeed knowing you did your best, at whatever you do and/or want to do in your life. If you ever need someone to talk to, PM me. (:

Feel free to PM/VM me if you ever need someone to talk to, or just want someone to listen. I'm also always up for making new friends.

all the time i just want to cry and let it all out but i just can't, no matter how hard i try. i dont know why either. whenever i do end up crying, it only lasts a few minutes. i was told when i was little to stop crying whenever i did, i think thats part of the reason why. i know how you feel. and it flat out SUCKS. whenever you get the feeling to let it out, just dooo it. if it means screaming at the top of your lungs, or crying into a pillow, no one (with a heart) will judge you. talk to people about how you feel and dont keep anything inside.
i guess just time will solve this one. <33

I have a bad habit of repressing everything, it comes from years of locking it up to get by when things were difficult. You should give yourself time to be unhappy when you are, you have the right to feel the way you do and im sure your boyfriend will understand that life is not easy all the time.
Long distance is made of frustration and unpleasantness and even the hardest of us have trouble dealing with all that sometimes.
Take the time to play some sad music, stare at a wall, cry, just be as you really are when you can.

The flower that blooms in adversity is the most rare and beautiful of all

I'll be there when the world stops turning, I'll be there when the storm is through, In the end I want to be standing at the beginning with you.

holding that pain in is hard.
you need to breath, and realize that you can't be always strong,
there's going to be something that's going to knock you off your feet.
maybe talking to your boyfriend, and telling him that your upset with things.
that all you wanna do is cry. maybe he can do something that makes everything better. hold your chin up
your not alone. pm me anytime, even if it's just to talk .
