Oh my! - December 5th 2010, 09:13 AM

I don't know what's going on with me. I know that I have depression, and this may be stemming from this.
I was never sure about the whole 'voices in my head' thing, but what other choice is there but to believe when they are screaming? It's just constant yelling, all the time. I'm being pulled in a million directions, they aren't me. I know they aren't my conscious telling me what's best. I just don't know if this can develop into worse things that screaming, like talking? Does this even count as mental health or is this normal? Because I'm sick of the headaches.

"I have no doubt that each man kills the thing he loves-to match his own dying" pg. 67/Tree of Knowledge/Author Unknown

You can't kill love, you can only try to extinguish it...and why would you want to be the cause of the death of something so pure?

If what is happening in your mind is interfering with how you life your life then it's worth seeing someone about. I didn't know about where you live but there are crisis lines you could phone, you could see your family doctor or you could go to the hospital. There is always the option of school counselor if you're still attending school.
I remember when I first heard any sort of voice I wasn't sure if it was normal or not. I got convinced it wasn't because one day it got so bad I couldn't leave the house and was forced to go to the hospital. It's always best to see a doctor when it's still up to you.
