Question How do I tell my parents? - April 15th 2011, 01:03 PM

I asked the same question here a few days ago but didn't get many replies, (other post is further down the mental health forum) I think because the question was too long.

I want to tell my parent's I think there is something mentally wrong with me, but I have no idea how to come out with it. Help?

Just be honest, parents (usually) just want what's best for their children and if you explain to them what your concerns are they will likely want to bring you to visit with a doctor or other professional.

I know it seems hard, but it really is as simple as telling them what's on your mind.
