Mental Health visitor coming today :/ -

So I'm really scared. My doctor referred me to the community mental health team and I have an initial appointment today at my house. I wish I knew what to expect. I'm so nervous I feel sick...when I tried talking to anyone about this before, it comes out in a flood of everything...I end up in such a mess and I dont want a random stranger to see me like that.
Has anyone else got any experience with NHS mental health people? I dont like not knowing about stuff :/ Plus I'm even more nervous because she's visiting my house....  Just a hop, skip and a jump. |

Hey Jo,
I know you probably have already had your meeting now so I hope it went well. I see a cpn from the community mental health team and we just chat about how things are going and it is rather informal really. They are not there to judge only to help you. Let us know how it went

One actually comes to my house. She's okay, she could be worse. They're genuinely open-minded and if you don't want to talk about something they won't make you. Mine's a bit patronising but otherwise she's fine
