Strange memory I know can't be real?

I have a strange memory that can't possibly be real. It pops up into my head when I look at the sky and it's either clear or its got certain clouds in it. My guess is that it's probably from a dream or something, but who knows. Details about it:
It started off with just me and two other people, both young men I think, inside a strange white building with nothing else around but the sky. It's progressed to the point where I know one of the young men's name is Randy and the building was like a school or a place where were studying. The building itself looks kind of like a lollipop. Its white with a thing middle the goes straight up into the sky with a orb on tops. It is completely clean, smooth white material with only a rectangle of glass looking out onto the world. Most recently, there seems to be a road or high/freeway built with the same white material.

The real question isn't really 'Was I abducted by aliens or something?' 'Is this just a dream?' or ect. What I'm asking is for the psychology behind it. Why would such a thing randomly pop up into my mind? What could it mean? Or does it have no meaning at all?

I asked this same exact question on Yahoo Answers, and some one answered with "I can't tell you where your memory came from, but it is most likely progressing just because you are thinking more about it and your imagination is adding details to fill in the blanks."

I agree, maybe my imagination is a bit too big for it's briches(Haha), but I just think it's really odd, and I'd like to get a little information on why this memory just randomly came into my head.

i have no idea but this happens to me like i talk to my friedns and they will be like that never happened i would look like confused like yes it did but it might be just that dream may have had an impact on you or something im not sure either but it probably was a dream most likly if you dont remeber how u got there or how you left
