Social Skills Training or CBT? - November 8th 2011, 09:05 PM

I have a severe sensitivity to social rejection, anxiety and a bunch of other social problems which is probably the reason why I don't have any friends, can't talk to people, etc. I've been thinking about starting up therapy again (the last time was terrible), and I'm thinking about addressing these this time and asking if I can do some sort of social skills training, since I can't think of any other way I can get over this. I don't know much about it, but has anyone ever done some sort of social skills training, or cognitive behavioral therapy? What's it like?
