Schizophrenia? -

Hey
 ,I was wondering if I'm a crazy person. You see I have conversations with myself (which I know you are going to say is perfectly normal). The problem is I make up scenes of a social setting in my head, where I ask questions or talk in general and pretend to be other people (mostly the ones I know) answering or replying back to the question I previously asked  . These conversations go back and forth until I become distracted by something or someone else. . PlEaSe RePlY, XiAli

Honestly, it's perfectly normal. I do the same thing, especially if I'm about to have a serious conversation with someone. I picture the different responses they might have. Don't be worried, it's just a part of being human.

First of all, the chances of having schizophrenia are slim to none. You have more chance of being struck my lighting or eaten by a shark. Although voices in your head can be the offeset of other disorders.
Secondly, when alone I talk to "myself" often. Or more specifically animals. and they "Answer" back. Also I happen to play out social situations in my head to try to calculate the probability of getting the desired outcome from the situation. You're quite normal, I assure you. - Justin  |
